HALLOWED GROUND
Blues jams helped to save my life during the pandemic, and I’m so honored to be able to continue the tradition. These building blocks are essential to a communities musical health and they honor the improvisational spirit of American Roots music. If it’s blues based folk, jazz, rock, R&B, soul oriented… we dig it on Tuesday Bluesdays.
Its a showcase…
Not an open mic…Tuesday Bluesdays don’t have a traditional sign up sheet. It flows as an audience forward experience that showcases talent in a way some have called “The Bluebird Cafe for the Blues,” so there are
limited slots each night.
Featured performers that are selected to play can also request the band to learn special material in the right scenario. This also facilitates a space for your merch and records if you have any.
Its a radio show.
We are broadcasting these performances live on WUTC 88.1FM so we encourage you to use this platform as a space to promote your current releases, programs, socials and concerts.
